  We stayed in May 2026. We absolutely love this hotel. It was clean, modern, and nicely located. Staff was excellent beds and pillows were great. Overall, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in at this price point in a long time.   My husband and I stayed here for a couple nights, and we wished we stayed longer! The hotel is nestled in a nice town with shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff is so friendly and helpful in navigating Yosemite park. The room was very spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast that was included was delicious; our favorite part of the hotel was definitely the sauna and steam room! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is doing Yosemite!   Wonderful stay at the Yosemite Southgate.

  We wanted to stay in Oakhurst for a few days before going to Yosemite but had trouble choosing which hotel to stay in. We loved this hotel. Each room has a microwave and refrigerator. it's very spacious and has indoor hallways. Nice bathroom and vanity area. The breakfast was full of all the basics including scrambled eggs and sausages. I could get toast and cereal. So grateful to get Cheerios instead of the usual sweetened honey nut cheerios. To top it off, we enjoyed all the birds nesting in the roof area.   Amazed and surprised

  This small , friendly, quaint hotel is affordable, clean , and quiet. It is also only a 30 min drive to Yosemite NP South Entrance. There are plenty of restaurants around the property . It has also plenty of gas stations around it to make a very convenient stay . I must say the meticulous cleaning staff at the hotel is impressive. You will not see this type of daily cleaning at the big chain hotels. I applaud the house keeping staff for their hard work.
