  Terrible - stay away. Friendly staff but wow the hotel needs to be cleaned up and remodeled badly plus it is dirty. The pool was gross and I did not want to get in with used band aids, nails, trash, lots of hair, and a thick film of tanning lotion floating around. Rooms are really outdated and badly in need of complete update. Mold everywhere in the shower. Sink would not drain with hair constantly coming up. Walls in bathroom in need of paint. Door handle broken. Coffee is terrible for breakfast. They have not cleaned out the coffee maker for months if not years and as a former restaurant owner I can taste it when it isn’t clean. Asked for espresso based coffee - not only to get charged but also experience it again with bad taste due to not cleaning it. The street along the water in front of hotel is where young people gather throughout the night racing cars and motorcycles. 3 am woke up to a large crowd gathering and loud motorcycles. Better you go elsewhere. Great views from

  Nice hotel but some areas could use some improvement

  A nice boutique hotel, very brightly lit and a nice view of the river. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was loft - very spacious and modern. Bed was comfortable and I appreciated the little kitchenette. The bathroom, however, was quite worn out and could use a bit of a facelift. Breakfast had limited options.Location was not too bad, it was about a 5 minute drive to old town.   Sunset experience

  We were lucky to get a room with a wife view, “L” shape, and after experiencing the sunset from our bed we just realize that nothing else matters in the hotelHowever if you care about details, covid mode they deliver breakfast the former afternoon and it is kind of limited, there is no yogurt or fresh milk,... But than you watch the view again and forget about those details We love colonia and for this time of the year and under covid mode, we plan to return soon to the same room

  Fantastic Costa Colonia Boutique Hotel

  We recently stayed at the Costa Colonia hotel in Colonia, Uruguay. It was a romantic getaway to spend time as a couple. The hotel staff, room and general facilities were great!! Rooms are modern, clean and with great furnishing. The hotel room had a great view of the river coast (Rio de la Plata). The costal area (costanera) is great for a bike ride, jogging or a romantic walk. The city centre in Colonia has a great colonial feel, with cobblestone streets and great coastal views. The area has many cafes, shops and restaurants. If you are looking for a great weekend getaway, especially if travelling to Argentina or Uruguay, we highly recommend a 2-3 night getaway visit to Colonia, Uruguay. And while you are there, we also recon the Costa Colonia boutique hotel!!!

  Excellent resort.

  The resort is rated as a 3-star hotel. Nevertheless it offers a 4-star space and services, except for the fact that it does not have a conference hall. I strongly recomend it. Excellent breakfast and good restaurant with accessible prices. The staff is there to help all the time.
