  Great location for historic town experience and walking along the Rambla. The staff were friendly and professional. The rooms are not as they appear on the website. My room faced a block of appartments hence you are looking into someone else’s home for a view. The entry into the room 201 was not exciting. The vanity table is rusted and the bath had patched repair.   Flies during the breakfast

  There was a swarm of flies in the refectory (6th floor) during the breakfast (every day during our stay). The location and the staff are the good point.   Probably the worst hotel i've ever stayed in

  First I'll say the staff were very friendly, but that's the only good thing. The hotel has had no maintenance for years. The bedroom and bathroom had a constant smell of sewage. the bathroom sink leaked the whole time, the air con was so noisy we couldn't use it . I reported all these things and the 3 nights we were there, nothing was repaired.   Good hotel in central location

  Really good central location in the centre of the city but not noisy at all.Nice room which was a decent size and a good shower. Breakfast on the top floor had good options.The toilet kept blocking up no matter how much paper you used.   Waste of time. Cancelled our booking without reason or contact

  Cancelled our booking made 9 months in advance with no contact made a few weeks before our travel dates.We'd received a notification saying that our credit card was declined. We resubmitted saying it was accepted then a few days later stating it was declined again. This happened with 4 seperate credit cards. We'd used these same cards with other hotels around South America with no problem.Then they cancel our booking with no contact. So we're left without accommodation for our intended dates after trying to resolve the issue several times with no contact at all.You'd expect better customer service from a 4 star hotel. Disgusting! We understand how frustrating this situation must have been, and we truly regret the inconvenience it caused.In your case, the reservation was made under a non-refundable rate, which requires a valid and chargeable credit card to keep the booking active. The first card provided was flagged as fraudulent by the payment processor, and the second card had no available funds, which prevented us from securing the reservation according to the conditions agreed upon at the time of booking.After several unsuccessful attempts to validate the payment, the system automatically cancelled the reservation, as required by the non-refundable policy. We apologize if this process felt unclear — the intention is never to leave a guest without accommodation, but to comply with the payment and security standards set by the booking platform.We appreciate your comments about customer service and will use them to improve communication in situations like this.We hope you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future.
