  Perfect little stay in Montevideo

  I stayed at this hotel for four nights unfortunately due to a flight delay I missed out on the first day and arrived at midnight. My check-in was very smooth. My room was perfect with a Kettle, microwave and kitchenette and very clean. The walls could do with a paint to freshen them up. The view wasn’t fantastic but I didn’t spend a lot of time in the room anyway. Staff are really helpful. I met Veronica on my floor and she was so lovely and friendly and took me up to the roof to show me the gym and pool area. Lovely lady! Breakfast was good and plentiful with something for everyone. Though I must say the staff were quite miserable. Great location. Only a ten minute amble to the Rambla. The male reception staff were also very helpful. Highly recommended.

  Hotel in a safe area, close to central areas. The hotel is relatively poor. The breakfast is sparse and the rooms are not well maintained. There is a lot of rust and unpleasant stains. The staff was friendly and tried to help, but the other rooms they offered were in a similar condition

  I have stayed at many hotels in Montevideo and Vivaldi is by far the best in this price range. Very clean, very quiet, close to restaurants, shopping and Rio de La Plata. I was impressed that they take Covid precautions seriously compared to nearby hotels where I have stayed. Vivaldi Hotel is the best option.

  My wife and I stayed in the hotel for three nights prior to returning to London. Throughout the stay we had several issues, ranging from broken air-con units in the room, excessive noise from other hotel guests through to rude staff at breakfast, which was mediocre at best. Every time I spoke to one of the receptionists about the issues, they ignored me, lied on a number of occasions failed to rectify a single issue. No customer-service, awful attitude to guests.

  Mid-range hotel, very clean and nice, providing excellent value for money. Big room with huge windows, ok bathroom. Air conditioning works fine. Gym is tiny, tiny with no weights etc. The pool area is nice, great view. Ok breakfast. Friendly staff, easy check in. Location is perfect in Punta Carretas. I’ve never found anything better for this price in Montevideo.
