Wonderful hotel in the perfect La Rambla location! The Montevideo sign is directly across from the hotel which was a nice treat. The hotel has a nice atmosphere and wonderful front desk staff. The breakfast buffet was amazing with plenty of choices and worth getting if you want to eat before heading out. The rooms were very quiet and beds were extremely comfortable. We stayed on the waterfront / La Rambla side and loved watching the activity along the river.

It’s just beautiful, and I love the location. My suite was great. The breakfast was awesome and all the people that I met working there were just incredible and so helpful (Vane was the best. I really did enjoy chatting with the owner for a bit. I LOVED the ambience.Vane, Alex, Juanma, Gaston, Jose, Ayelen, Jonathan (maintenance),Alex and Lucy housekeeping.One flaw————Wilson waited on me at the restaurant and was very nice. I ordered the Caesar salad with the side of chicken and I have to say it was pretty boring. I did like my little basket with crackers and bread and flavorful butter. The lettuce was so long. They could’ve at least cut it up a bit. I shredded it with their hands. I watched the waitress in the table that looked like a dirty rag, and then she wiped everything on the placemat and then off of the table onto a chair that says that there while I was looking at it, you look around there’s a lot of food on these chairs.Beyond expectation, I was treated great as a global list and also recognized for that. I love the Hyatt Hotels.. A big word of advice. Don’t ever do the Hyatt Vacation Club timeshare. It is a rip off. We were lied to about everything. I’m really sorry that we bought, it doesn’t do us any good we travel so I never use it.I WOULD RECOMMEND

The Hyatt Centric Montevideo was great. Staff were very friendly and we loved the location. Our room was exceptionally spacious and comfortable and the breakfast spread was wonderful. I especially liked the variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. It made it easy to eat a healthy vegetarian breakfast. That said, my husband could order eggs, ham and bacon and be satisfied as well. The hotel had a nice gym. We also loved that there was an in-room kettle for coffee and tea, a frig, and a nearby (1.2km) shopping center and grocery store where we could get anything!

We enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Centric. Our room had a great view overlooking the river and the Montevideo sign. The hotel is warm and inviting and has a nice lobby bar. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Hotel is in a great location with walking distance to bars and restaurants.

Hyatt Centric is a 5-star hotel located in the Rambla Republica del Peru 1479 in Montevideo, Uruguay. This is a very nice area near the exciting city center, only 2.9 miles away. The view to the ocean with beachfront hotel is perfect for a nice vacation. The service is exceptional and the people are very friendly; they offer a rich and delicious breakfast included in the room price. The hotel also offers spa and wellness, with a nice gym and swimming pool. The hotel offers shuttle service for guests who want to explore the city. WiFi and good facilities for people with disabilities are available. The rooms are clean, spacious with A/C.
