English-speaking staff at the reception desk are on hand round the clock to assist guests with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Magnificent stay at Punta Trouville Hotel.

I had a magnificent stay at Punta Trouville Hotel. The room was very spacious, clean and peaceful.The area is quiet, seems very residential so not any noise clubs or pubs making excessive noise. There are small bars, coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. The Rambla and Beach is also within walking distance.The area is very safe, I was walking in the evening and no hassle or problems at all.Very easy to walk around, not very hilly and pleasant to walk.Restaurants, cafe and take away are close by, about 5-10 min walk and you can pay extra for breakfast at the hotel.The staff are very friendly, professional and served with a smile.

Español.Vamos a ver por donde comienzo. Voy a comenzar por lo que no se ve en las fotos y es el olor. Desde que sales del elevador rumbo a la habitación te recibe un olor muy fuerte a humedad y como yo soy asmática ya ese fue la primera señal de alerta. Cuando entramos a la habitación, ademas del olor a humedad te recibe otro olor a alcantarillado o pozo séptico que sale de el inodoro y los tragantes. Yo al ser asmática comencé a sentir falta de aire y a toser. Pedimos que nos cambiaran a una habitación que al menos no hediera. Nos cambiaran a otra habitación que seguía teniendo olor a humedad pero al menos no tenía el otro olor nauseabundo. Las fotos son de esa otra supuestamente “mejor” habitación. Si pudiera subir mas fotos lo haría pero aquí se limita la cantidad de fotos a subir. En resumen, muy sucio, desaliñado, en tres días que estuvimos nunca hicieron la habitación. Quedamos muy disgustados con esta estancia. La realidad está muy lejos de lo que muestran las fotos de advertisement. From the moment you step out of the elevator toward the room, you’re hit with a strong odor of dampness. Since I’m asthmatic, that was my first red flag.When we entered the room, besides the musty smell, there was also a sewage odor coming from the toilet and drains. I started coughing and having trouble breathing. We asked to be moved to another room that at least didn’t stink as much. The second room still smelled musty, but at least didn’t have that nauseating sewer smell. The photos I posted are from that supposedly “better” room.If I could upload more photos, I would — but there’s a limit here. In short: very dirty, neglected, and during the three days we stayed, no one came to clean the room even once.We were extremely disappointed with this stay. The reality is nothing like what the photos in the advertisement show.French.Malheureusement, notre expérience dans cet hôtel a été très décevante. Dès notre arrivée, une forte odeur d’humidité se faisait sentir dans le couloir et dans la chambre. Une fois à l’intérieur, une odeur supplémentaire d’égout provenait des toilettes et des canalisations, rendant la respiration difficile — surtout pour une personne asthmatique.Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre et, bien que la deuxième ait eu une odeur moins forte, elle sentait toujours le renfermé. L’endroit était également mal entretenu et n’a jamais été nettoyé pendant nos trois jours de séjour.Dans l’ensemble, l’état réel de l’hôtel est très loin de ce que montrent les photos et les publicités. Nous ne le recommandons pas.

Rests of poo in the toilet and a giant cockroach upon arrival. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!We had to call the reception twice, one for the faeces to be cleaned, and then another for the cockroach. As in any hotel, you’d expect a full refund and arrangements to stay elsewhere, but they didn’t seem to get that. Unfortunately having been to this property several times in the past, I can safely say that I am never ever going back.

Summary of my experience- booked 2 rooms, a pent-house and an executive room. We were 4 adults- checked in- went to our rooms- rooms were dirty, smelly, old, furniture full of scratches, toilet with mould and bad smell, sticky walls, dirty floors, food smell from years of average cleaning, non-functioning AC, small bed.- in one of the rooms there were blankets and bed cover on the floor- in summary, I booked the hotel in good faith, based on the photos on their web site, which turned to be extremely misleading. Photos have to be 10+ years old- went down to reception- had a word with the manager- he agreed to fully refund us- we left and looked for an alternative accommodationAll this happened in 45 mins aprox. Horrendous place. Kudos to staff who did agree to refund us even without trying to convince us to stay. They didn't seem to be surprised by the way.
