Wonderful little hotel in the green
02 Jun 2026
We had a lovely stay at AWA. The room was comfortable and the breakfast very nice. We didn’t use it but there was a spa with sauna and indoor pool. I had a massage and facial treatment which was amazing. Gestor de Experiencia, Guest Services / Front Office at AWA Boutique and Design Hotel, responded to this review Hello Marina! It's great that you had an amazing massage and facial treatment. We look forward to welcoming you back for another wonderful experience!

Do not book the AWA...find a better hotel
25 Apr 2026
The AWA Hotel was a complete disappointment, and certainly not a 4-star hotel as advertised. The rooms are small and tired, bathrooms were in need of repair - cracked tiles, moldy appearance. There was no desk, but only a single plastic chair. The hotel is located in a somewhat residential area, so quiet, but a bit remote to get to restaurants and beaches. Gestor de Experiencia, Guest Services / Front Office at AWA Boutique and Design Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your experience. We sincerely regret that your stay did not meet your expectations, as this does not reflect the quality standards we strive to provide. We are surprised by some of the points mentioned, as we continuously work on the maintenance and comfort of our facilities. Nevertheless, we take your feedback seriously and will review it internally.Regarding our location, we are situated in a quiet residential area, just minutes away from the main points of interest. We appreciate your comments and remain at your disposal should you wish to contact us directly to further discuss your experience.

Relaxed base in Punta del Este
02 Dec 2025
Lovely quiet hotel a little out of the centre of Punta del Este with a good pool area and a nice relaxed vibe. Our room was well equipped with kettle provided. We didn’t use the restaurant, but the breakfast was good. Gestor de Experiencia, Guest Services / Front Office at AWA Boutique and Design Hotel, responded to this review Hello Anne D! Thank you for your kind words, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Great place to relax
30 Mar 2025
AWA Boutique is a lovely small hotel for a getaway.Located in a residential area about 1,5 miles from the beach/bus terminal and walking distance to a shopping mall it’s a tranquil place to relax. Upon arrival we were told that construction was going for another one or two hours. When we came back after coffee noise was still brutally loud (it was the room directly on top of us). Luckily, we were offered a different room away from the construction that very evening (though it wasn’t bothersome next day). Breakfast was good on quality and variety, staff very attentive and friendly. The hotel offers free bicycles which is really handy to navigate around. Facilities are just great, we recommend staying here. Equipo AWA hotel, Ventas at AWA Boutique and Design Hotel, responded to this review We sincerely appreciate your feedback.
