  Wonderful little hotel in the green

  We had a lovely stay at AWA. The room was comfortable and the breakfast very nice. We didn’t use it but there was a spa with sauna and indoor pool.   Do not book the AWA...find a better hotel

  The AWA Hotel was a complete disappointment, and certainly not a 4-star hotel as advertised. The rooms are small and tired, bathrooms were in need of repair - cracked tiles, moldy appearance. There was no desk, but only a single plastic chair. The hotel is located in a somewhat residential area, so quiet, but a bit remote to get to restaurants and beaches.   Relaxed base in Punta del Este

  Lovely quiet hotel a little out of the centre of Punta del Este with a good pool area and a nice relaxed vibe. Our room was well equipped with kettle provided.   AWA Boutique is a lovely small hotel for a getaway.Located in a residential area about 1,5 miles from the beach/bus terminal and walking distance to a shopping mall it’s a tranquil place to relax. Upon arrival we were told that construction was going for another one or two hours. When we came back after coffee noise was still brutally loud (it was the room directly on top of us). Luckily, we were offered a different room away from the construction that very evening (though it wasn’t bothersome next day). Breakfast was good on quality and variety, staff very attentive and friendly.The hotel offers free bicycles which is really handy to navigate around.
