    Worst hotel in tashkent

    rating08 May 2024

Le Grand Plaza Hotel in Tashkent was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Let's start with the room—they must have saved their worst for me. The linens were stained, and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay in such dismal conditions. And don't get me started on the food. I've had better meals at gas stations. The so-called "continental breakfast" was a sad excuse for a meal, with stale pastries and watery coffee. I wouldn't dare touch anything from their kitchen again. As for customer service, there was none to speak of. The staff were not just indifferent, but outright rude. They treated guests like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. To add insult to injury, they tried to nickel and dime us for everything, from extra towels to basic amenities. It was like they were actively trying to make our stay as miserable as possible. But the final straw was when they threatened to call the police over a dispute about towels. Can you believe that? They actually resorted to blackmailing guests for wanting clean towels. It's disgraceful and downright illegal.Save yourself the headache and avoid Le Grand Plaza Hotel at all costs. There are plenty of other options in Tashkent that offer better accommodations and actually treat their guests with respect. Trust me, you'll thank yourself later.

Old world hotel but quite comfortable with quicker check in, cleaner rooms, Indian restaurant with good food, decent breakfast though with limited options. Centrally located with very good plenty of fast/ street food joints, good connectivity with other prominent places in city
