  Fantastic return to Caracas

  Great experience at the JW Marriott on my latest trip to Caracas. Helpful staff, welcoming atmosphere, great service. The transportation company was exceptionally helpful, airport transfers were flawless and our courteous and attentive drivers got us everywhere we needed to be on time. Glenda of the banquet department was also very helpful and accommodating.

  Avoid, noisy and unreliable service

  Terrible. Party noise on 2 nights was so bad (on 9th floor) that we were finally moved (on final night). We had 2 different visits. Items in storage between these visits were lost or stolen. We tried on 3 consecutive days to get the missing items. Each time we were told 'vamos a averiguar'. They never got back to us. The hotel decor and furnishings are tired. It is not a 5 star hotel. It is showing its age. Really, really poor value for money. The restaurant staff were very nice and polite.

  An incredible experience! We have stayed at other 5-star hotels in Caracas before, but this one exceeded our expectations. Most of the staff are always very polite and clearly well trained in customer service. Antonella (from reception) was always very willing to help us with all our requests, which are usually numerous due to the standards we maintain in the ministry, but she never once seemed reluctant to help. Her assistance was always genuine and excellent. There were many others who also dedicated themselves to supporting us during our stay at the hotel. I also remember the supervisor Aracelis and others whom I regret not being able to mention... But we really felt at home while we were here. Excellent service! Many thanks for everything to the entire team, and especially to Antonella for her special effort to always help us.

  It was my first trip to Caracas - a very unique and somewhat strange city. I didn't realize how difficult it would be to exchange money; there are no money changers, and most shops don't accept US $100 bills or give smaller notes easily.I was very lucky to meet Ms Antonella Chacin from Concierge. She went above and beyond to help me get smaller bills and local SIM card. She also advised me on local attractions, arranged a car and driver, and even provided details for visiting Angel Falls.Antonella was incredibly helpful and friendly, always making sure I had everything I needed.Her professional service truly stands out.Another person worth mentioning is Ms Carmen from Housekeeping. She was cheerful, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything I required in my room.Although the hotel itself is a bit outdated - which is understandable given the current political situation and lower business volume - the staff more than make up for it. The entire team is friendly, genuine, and truly helpful.They are the real gems of this hotel, making my stay both comfortable and memorable.Thank you for the wonderful service!
