    It would be hard to improve on the service, standard and location of this hotel. I was very impressed by the modern, clean lobby area and the welcome from the reception team. Check-in was quick and professional.I had asked to be on an upper floor and was on the 8th. While the view from the window was not the most beautiful, this is Hanoi, a city of great variety, and is to be expected.My room was large with two double beds, desk, coffee table and chairs. The laminate wood floor was clean (including under the beds). Two cupboards with plenty of clothes hangers and a robust fireproof safe (I was very impressed by the provision of smoke masks as part of the fire precautions) and a 'fridge and kettle. Free water, coffee, tea and some items in the 'mini bar' complete the set-up.The bathroom had a large shower area with plenty of hot water and a good pressure, a selection of toiletries and good quality towels etc.The WiFi was fast and seemed to be room selective - a good security move against hacking I imagine.One problem I found was that there was a lack of instructions for the use of the TV/Streaming device in the room folder. I got very quick help from the reception team but instructions on how to set up the language setting and on/off details for the TV and Box will be of use to future guests. The breakfast restaurant is large and during my stay there were clearly fewer guests than normal. For this reason I was presented with a menu and seated for table service! It was a calm and pleasant way to start the day. When there are more guests there is provision for a full buffet selection.The location is opposite the Ho Thien Quang lake and just a brief walk from Thong Nhat Park and Ho Bay Mau lakes. In one direction it's a 20min walk to Train Street and in the other a similar distance to the Opera House, French Quarter and Ho Hoan Kiem Lake. In my opinion this is possibly one of the best locations for a stay in Hanoi.I heartily recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Hanoi.

    We stayed at this hotel as part of an Intrepid tour of Vietnam. The rooms were large and comfortable. The hotel is in the centre of Hanoi and close to the lake. The staff were friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was awesome. Highly recommended!

    What a lovely hotel .Front staff very friendly place was so clean. Room was a surprise the bed was comfy and very quiet.Would highly recommend. Short walk to town or sit in the park over the road and chill out. Really enjoyed our stay there. Would love to go back.

    Nothing really special apart from being pristine white in color

    Seems like a new hotel when the white looks white. The hotel is just opposite the lake which gives good views to those rooms looking onto the lake. Of course, those rooms rates are higher. The breakfast is nice and number of options (local and non-local); wifi works well in the room, bathroom is nice. rooms are just okay. When I checked in, the hotel gave me a room whose view looked onto the wall of another building. Quite and does not allow natural light to come in. After requesting and requesting, they were able to move me to a higher floor which a clearer view (as they need to put me in a room of the same rate). No lake view but at least natural light and some level of privacy. Apart from that, nothing super great.
