    Excellent Location, Wonderful Staff & Great Base for Exploring Hanoi

    We stayed 4 nights and would happily stay again.The location is excellent. It’s only a 5-minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and around 10 minutes to the heart of the Old Quarter. If you don’t feel like walking, Grab is incredibly easy to use we were typically paying only around AUD $3 for a taxi into the busier areas. The hotel is perfectly positioned away from the noise and crowds while still being close to everything. The street outside feels local and authentic, with St Joseph’s Cathedral, coffee shops, shopping, a 7-Eleven and ATMs all right on your doorstep.The staff are charming, friendly and always willing to help. In all honesty, the people of Hanoi were one of the highlights of our trip and the hotel team reflected that warmth perfectly.Safety was never a concern. We walked around after dinner each evening and always felt comfortable. The traffic can look intimidating at first, but simply cross at a steady pace and enjoy the experience it’s part of Hanoi’s unique charm. If you’re unsure, just follow a local across.The facilities were very good. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool and spent a lovely evening having cocktails and dinner while taking in the views.Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the bed was excellent. We stayed in an Executive City View room on the 3rd floor. The “city view” was really just a view of the local street, so if having a view is important to you, I’d suggest requesting a higher floor. That said, we spent very little time in the room as there was so much to see and do around Hanoi.

    Amazing Hanoi at the Hotel Anatole.

    We have stayed on two occasions at the Hotel Anatole Hanoi, and enjoyed our stay. The staff are truly amazing so polite, helpful, knowledgeable and engaging with particular note to Jerry, Phem, Clara, Ann, boys in the Sky Bar and the boys at the front door( always ready with an umbrella if it’s raining), The Sky Bar views are great particularly across the infinity pool, (Water has always been warm,(mid June) visit).The rooms are tastefully furnished and beds are very comfortable especially after long flights from the UK.Finally the food served in the restaurant and the Sky Bar has been excellent. Would we recommend and come back in heart beat.     What a find! Had a wonderful stay here at the Anatole Hotel- the staff are fantastic and we came as guests and left feeling like family! We did two stays split by a trip to Ha Long Bay. We also ate a few times in the Sky Bsr and the restaurant for our evening meal - excellent food! Thanks to everyone especially Jerry and Phem- really all staff are a credit to the hotel - rooms were very clean and modern-serviced every day.     Anatole hotel really was such a pleasant place to stay. The staff was very accommodating and helpful (special mention to Clara who helped us checked in and arrange our transportation and Phem at the breakfast). The rooms are very comfortable and spacious.
