    This hotel is really out dated. 80,s design, 90,s built its living in the past. My 87 year old mother would love it!Time has moved on but the hotel has not kept up to date with what the modern traveler needs.We stayed in 7 locations on our travels through Vietnam some of them were 5 hours away in the mountains. These out of the way places offered an authentic Vietnamese experience. At this hotel we could have been anywhere in the world.Breakfast was very poor quality.The rooms and the site were very clean thought

    Just wrapped up our second stay at Diamond Westlake Suites, and honestly, it was just as good as the first. We were in unit D05-09 this time (we were in B1-04 last time), and the quality is just so consistent. It’s rare to find a place that feels this comfortable every single time.You can really tell the team is well led, so kudos to the GM for the welcoming vibe. I also have to give a massive shout-out to Thuy, who looked after our room. She wasn't just thorough, she was so kind and gentle. She really made the place feel like a home rather than just a hotel.This is officially our favorite spot in Hanoi. We’re already planning our return for December 2026. If you’re traveling with family or staying alone, I can’t recommend it enough.     Wonderful stay. The hotel is quiet and reasonably clean, though it’s far from the center. There wasn’t much interaction with the staff, but the pool is huge.     A very pleasant stay.

    We had a very pleasant stay here, we were warmly welcomed by reception on a Sunday afternoon. We stayed for 8 days in a very spacious apartment overlooking the pool. There were no noise issues, we are pleased that the pool closes at 6pm. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped and cleaned nicely each day by housekeeping. As the weather was not too good we were grateful for the heating in the apartment, there is air con too. We enjoyed the environment as it was safe and family friendly . We enjoyed our breakfast each day and felt it was fairly varied. Reception were helpful as were the security team. There is an on-site supermarket as well as supermarkets outside the complex, restaurants, pharmacy and spas. Hanoi is about 5 km in a taxi. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the complex.     Improvement on staff attitude

    The staff were not friendly at all and always angry to the guest. They have no rags for the comfort room. They were not refilling the complimentary water when they cleaned the room. The staff on the reception and breakfast buffet were not friendly at all.
