    Disgusting worst hotel I 20 years of global travel

    Simply disgusting in 20 years of global travel this would gave to be the worst hotelShowed 1st room which stank abs noisy 2nd room no better 3rd room huge bed but light fitting sticking into bed area from wall 4 th room would not have my dog stay inDirty tired and unhelpful

    This is a genuie review for people who looks into hotel before saying a go ahead to any tour agency who books for you. If you get a quote from any agency from Mon regency which is now La Passion classic hotel, please decline.We were given by a tour agency and the photos are just disguise. Do not go with it. We were in hanoi for 4 days.. The first day we checked in the room size was so small and the bathroom stunk with dump. They came checked and moved us to another bedroom which was over looking to the main road.Talking about the main road, this hotel is situation on a curve junction in the old quater road.That is the only plus point and my rating for 2 stars.We had to return from halong bay and ended up in this hotel one more night. This time they gave us another room in the 6th floor near to the massage room. When you get out of the lift you feel as if you entered into a sauna room..no ventilation on the ile. Upon checking into the room, the A/C didn't cool. Called them and they came up to check. The boy tired many times and infront of us he removed the air filter and took it into our bathroom and was cleaning it. Fixed it back and said will work now. 15 mins waited and still the room was not cooling. Later they checked us to another room. Because it was already paid by the tour agency or else we would have walked out.Now comes the poor selection of food. Very limited option. You can find the same food every day. My husband stopped having breakfast.The lift is so slow. Not at all recommended for a peaceful stay.

    This place is not five star. Gave it a two as staff on 2nd day friendly & room a decent size. Place smells, does not feel clean and breakfast poor- limited choice and due to not looking fresh/clean put off eating in there also.

    So quite simply just don't stay here. It's an awful place. It's situated on a manic roundabout so almost all the rooms have terrible, non stop traffic noise. The lift is tiny, the lobby is not air conditioned & is cluttered with piles of suitcases. The breakfast room is dingy & overlooks the main road - food choice not great. Carpets in bedrooms are stained and the whole place has a feel of needing a refurbishment. The TV remote control was caked with grime. I spent three weeks in Vietnam/Cambodia & this was by far the worse accommodation.

    We stayed here as part of a organized trip. First of all they only give you one room card. When traveling with a friend this is not ideal. We stayed 2 nights and another 1 a few days later when we returned from Halong Bay.Both rooms where not clean. Hair in bath tub and shower. The toilets are not cleaned properly and both rooms had a stale smell. A word of advice take a travel hand steamer to Vietnam I really struggled everywhere we stayed to get a iron and most of them don’t have a board either. We stayed in a. Airbnb on a different night and it was so much better.
