    Wonderful experience on a magic island

    We had a great idea to book a four- night stay at the Vinpearl resort in Ha Long Bay.The location is amazing - a small island, accessible by private boat (about 5 minutes one way and service provided 24/7). The planning is intelligent- a large hotel with two swimming pools (the big one 70m long!) and three sandy beaches, situated in different directions. Our suites (709 & 719) were fantastic with very beautiful view to the bay. Special mention to the housekeeping team (Mrs. Nguyễn Trường) that made our stay really special and exceeded our expectations.The breakfast choice was very large, the food was tasty and well served. There are also two restaurants (my heart goes to The Pavilion), which prepared and adapts food to any tastes.I can only highly recommend this resort for anyone who wants to feel like in a very luxurious version of home.     A little piece of heaven.

    From the very start this resort gives you the five start treatment from check in at the main land reception ( which was hard for our driver to find ) to the private boat across to the resort. Once there the resort only gets better with its beautiful surroundings and amazing pools and views that look like a postcard.The staff are so helpful and friendly. We were there during a very busy period which was a Vietnamese holiday so lots and lots of people but the resort is so good that you still felt well looked after.I was very ill one night during our stay and the on site clinic give me medication that helped me so that I was able to travel the next day. If I could give this resort 10 stars I would as it was like a little piece of heaven.     Room was hilarious. Food is good, especially Italian restaurant. The sea-by-side restaurant has great view, very romantic.     Terrible service, rooms and guests

    Fantastic facilities unfortunately the loudness and rudeness of the other guests spoils the niceness of the resort. We were in a suite and unfortunately there is a clear issue with damp and mould in these rooms- the smell is strong as you come into the rooms- which housekeeping cover with room fresher. The corridors have dehumidifiers to try to control the issue but clearly this is huge problem. The worst part is the hotel had some so called VIP guests when we arrived at the hotel and so we were pushed out of the entrance area and made to wait in a side room for a hour before we could get a boat to the main resort - the hotel’s priority clearly were their VIP guests and the eventually they had going on that day!!!!!
