Built 50 meters from the sea, the 182 rooms Senses Resort stands as a bastion of relaxation. The contemporary designed hotel is awash with aromatic pine trees and Mediterranean plants, giving it a lush vibe that is, unlike most traditional Mediterranean hotels, ideal for hiking and cycling in the vicinity.

Perfect place to relax and recharge !

Peaceful setting amidst the trees with the beautiful Adriatic sea close by.
Friendliness of the staff , cleanliness of the room were superb . The most impressive aspect of the hotel is the food , it is fantastic with great choice and variety .

There is a small restoran near the hotel , Soline , which also offers great food and cocktails with sea being two steps from it if you have children it is a great way to relax and also keep an eye on them .
It is a big plus that hotel is taking care of sunbeds being reserved by guests with towels . As before you had a hard time finding a nice place on the beach .
Explore :
Beautiful small town Vrboska just 15 min walkway by the sea with many good restorants and bars , there is also water taxi available for those who prefer not to walk
I recommend to visit Jelsa, Stari Grad , and Fortica fortress . If you have enough time take a tour to blue lagoon, blue cave and nearby islands .
We had a great short stay here and would definitely recommend to anyone as we also are a third time visitors :)

Nice week due to stunning location but poor value for money

My wife and I stayed at Labranda Senses Resort in July 2024 for 1 week on an all-inclusive basis. We booked a standard double room facing the sea.
Overall we really enjoyed our week. The positives: the location next to an estuary is tranquil with stunning scenery. The sea is beautifulMy wife and I stayed at Labranda Senses Resort in July 2024 for 1 week on an all-inclusive basis. We booked a standard double room facing the sea.
Overall we really enjoyed our week. The positives: the location next to an estuary is tranquil with stunning scenery. The sea is beautiful and mostly calm. It is a great place to relax and chill out. You can walk to the nearest town of Vbranska otherwise you need transport to visit places further afield. There is nothing else around the resort.
The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable albeit a bit on the small side but we weren’t bothered by that as we only slept in the room. The rooms have good aircon.
The other positives are the food which is excellent and the staff and very good, especially the team in the restaurant, the guys serving on the terrace bar and the cleaners and grounds staff.
The negatives: the pool is very small and when filled with little kids, is very noisy. Not a pleasant place to sit.
The restaurant feels like a 1980’s office canteen, the noise of kids and adults bounces off the walls and can make it intolerable. They need to add some soft furnishings / sound deadening around the restaurant to make life bearable. There is only one restaurant on site. Saying that, the food is excellent and there is good choice.
The place feels like it is being run a shoestring, there are no drinks supplied in the room fridges, you can’t even get a bottle of water from anywhere! There are not enough sunbeds so you have to get up at 7.30am to put your towels down. There are no pads on the recliners so are uncomfortable, the local shop sells them so my wife and I bought a couple and left them at the end of the holiday.
In summary, the location is the main selling point of Labranda, we did enjoy our week’s stay.
The disappointment is it could be so much better, the pool area needs to be completely redeveloped. From a value for money perspective resorts in Italy / Turkey / Greece offer much more.

I stayed here few hot days in June and it was amazing. All inclusive food is really good, and there were carrot cake which I ate all the time, but all the other cakes were really good. We had good time and even thinking about going back there this summer. Only downside which I assume can be quickly improved is that path to reception, restaurant and beach is not wheelchair assessable. I was there with baby in stroller so it was annoying all the time carry stroller for steps. Building where was accommodation had elevator.

The room (upgraded to Sea view) - modern room with a very comfy bed and lots of pillows. Bathroom again very modern and a good shower. Air con works well. Room was a tad on the small side, but overall was a very good experience.

The hotel / facilities - has large grounds, if you don’t have a sun bed by the pool, there’s plenty on the stoney beach. Lots of activities available, some you have to pay extra for, but have the option to be active or chill. Staff are really friendly all over, we didn’t have a single bad experience and there on hand to help with anything (we booked a few taxis with them, made life a lot easier!). There’s a separate stoney beach where there’s an independent bar/coffee shop/water sports place that’s only a 2 minute walk.
Food/Drink - buffet option for all meals, there’s always something you’d want. Bar is always open for beer/wine/cocktail selection. All inclusive Cocktail selection is slightly limited, pretty sure they did extra ones you could pay for though.
location - hotel is built on the sea with lots of trees providing natural shade in a slightly remote part of Hvar. There isn’t a sand beach but lots of places to get in and out of the sea with some man made piers. Local village nearby is 30 minute walk or 10 min water taxi with plenty to offer in local culture, bars and places to eat if you’d like a more formal dinner setting. The pool is in a sun trap and gets sun all day, there are umbrellas around the pool but you need to get lucky with where you sit to make sure you get one.
Overall - a great experience, some websites gave the hotel a 3 star rating, so with this in mind, I’d definitely give them a 5 star experience on a 3 rating. Fantastic value for money, we paid £700 for 2x adults all inclusive, which I think is a bargain with what’s on offer. Would recommend and would definitely go back!

As advertised very tranquil. BUT it was very under capacity and couldn’t imagine with many more when we were staying coping with their facilities. Not enough sun beds, swimming pool too small (but I was a sea swimmer) Food good but it would be bun fight with many more people.As advertised very tranquil. Not enough attention paid to local boat trips and visits to local towns of Hvar and Starigrad. Vrboska really delightful and the water taxi back to hotel a pleasure.

All in all we both had a lovely very relaxing week and would recommend pre higher season - and the staff were lovely.
