7 Nights 5-Star All Inclusive Sharm El Sheikh Getaway W/Flts

Long story short - don't go there unless you want to spend your holiday standing in rows for food and drinks, being bored, being treated poorly by some staff, and bitten by mosquitoes. To start - our family has been on 18 All-inclusive package trips. So we have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. This was "the ugly". The first impression was good. Big hotel, near the airport. Spacious, beautiful reception with friendly employees, nice territory with artificial rivers and gardens. They even took us and our luggage to the room by a golf cart. However, the truth hit fast… Rooms: The room was spacious and bright, however, if you looked closely, you could see that the rooms are a bit old and used. Don’t open the balcony door in the evening/night - due to artificial rivers, there are a lot of mosquitoes. We, and especially our poor toddler, got bitten pretty fast and pretty much despite us having an anti-mosquito lamp. Meals and restaurant: Getting a meal itself was a quest. Long rows, no plates, cups, or silverware. If you are lucky enough to get a plate, there is a high chance that you will not get food. If you get some cups and drink again - most likely you will not get food or dessert. Some of the plates and glasses are not washed properly. The food is pretty tasty but spicy as well. You have to be lucky enough to get to the restaurant at the right time to get melon, bananas, or some fancier dessert - they run out fast and don’t get refilled often. Drinks and bars: Overall, drinks are great. Especially in the snack bar and Rocks Bar. However, during evenings they try to make cocktails as fast as possible so don’t be surprised if your drink doesn’t look like it looked during the day. Animation: Overall, they offered a lot of stuff during the day; however, they don't go around and tell about the activities like animation teams do in other hotels. Most of the animation team was nice; they interacted with us and our toddler, but one girl. The girl who leads the evening mini disco seems pretty self-centered - during the mini disco, she dances in the middle and only focuses on herself. There were a few times when she almost hit some toddlers and smaller children with her arms and legs. Kudos to Alicia from the animation team; she was friendly and nice to us. Territory: Around the main building, the territory is nice looking at first sight, however, when you look closely, you can see that it's untidy, and outdoor furniture is broken. If you exit the main building territory, it kinda of feels like a ghost town. I believe approximately 60% of the hotel is unfinished, including the Lagoon Mall. Beach: Not worth it. There are a lot of rocks and only a few fish. If you want to snorkel, forget about it. You will only hurt your feet and see a few fishes. The sand is pretty rough. Good thing that the shuttle bus takes trips often. Aqua park: Nice, with a lot of rides, and cute water playgrounds for the smaller ones. They give snacks and drinks from 11 am. The shuttle bus drives there often. However, the water was ice cold every other day. Staff: Overall, the staff is nice. The bartenders, housekeeping staff, restaurant staff, shuttle bus drivers, and some (not all!!) reception staff members are really friendly and nice. Big thanks to lifeguard Ahmed; he was friendly and gentle with our toddler as he taught him how to swim. Couldn’t forget the incident that happened before our departure. As stated on the hotel info sheet, 1 day before our departure, we went to the reception to purchase a late checkout. An employee, named Malak in a very rude manner told us that it wasn’t possible. While trying to find solutions, I suggested that we could put our toddler down to nap in the luggage room, reception, kid’s room, or somewhere else, to which I got a reply “You are not the only one with a child here”. When the situation escalated, staff interfered and to our surprise, we were offered a room. To add to this situation, we issued a review to the tour company that we bought this trip from. Turns out, that despite us writing a bad review before leaving, the staff wrote in their system that we were happy with our stay. As stated previously - we WERE NOT happy! Overall we think that it is not a good look on the hotel's side - a lot of false information, poor service, some rude staff members and lies about the services that they offer. We will never go to this hotel again and don't suggest anyone to go there too.
