Costa Dorada Holiday – Salou Hotel Stay & Flights – By The Beach!

This hotel is in a great location very close to multiple beaches and strip is about 10/15 min walk away surrounded with shops and some restaurants the weather when we went was very nice so we went to the pool to relax and it was lovely the water was cold however (probably because it is off season) They had a really smooth check in and check out system the hotel was spotless including rooms which were cleaned daily shower was perfect no issues and the towels were changed along with sheets everyday and key card worked perfectly through our whole trip views from the rooftop we’re gorgeous however hot tub wasn’t in use which was a shame however we will defiantly be back during peak season to use them staff were also all excellent

Highly recommend this hotel for short and long stays. Very nice and clean hotel area and rooms. Staff very friendly and helpfull. We stay with a HB - very nice food, choice from fish, meat, vegan. Nice desserts. You can always find something different for yourself. Great view from roof top as you can see from my pictures. Small pool area but very clean and enough for relax. Close to the beaches with short walk... you can choose and explore the area from small to big beaches. I recommend a enjoyable walk around the coast with wonderful views, not recommend with small children - lots of steps;) Close to centre of Salou. Few markets and shops around the hotel.

Honest review and have to agree with most of the points mentiined already. Room is always cleaned to a high standard. Had to pay tourist season tax despite being told its not tourist season as we enquired about rooftop jacuzzis which are closed until July 15th. This was a disappointment as there is no mention of this on website and it was one of my reasons for booking. No kettle supplied TV definitley not SMART tried to connect my phone to no avail as the only English channel is BBC news and all the other buttons on the remote are just pointless as they do nothing. Cooked breakfast was cold every morning and everything except for the churros were inedible ended up going across the road for a full English in the end. Speaking of breakfast we had an early pick up to the airport at 7.50am asked if we could have a coffee and croissant or toast and we were told no breakfast is 8 til 10 am despite paying for the breakfast on booking which we would appreciate a refund for x3. The Pool area is nice and clean however there was some loud parties at this hotel smoking cannabis etc and language unappropriate for the children around the pool area although this is no fault of the hotel I could see the parents of the children were not happy. We could not have our balcony door open because whoever was next to our room was constantly smoking cannabis and we couldnt cope with the smell. Key cards hardly ever worked had to keep getting reprogrammed accused by reception of keeping it near mobile phone which it never was. Not enough towels for 3 people and we got looked at like we had 2 heads when we asked for more towels. Only 1 duvet provided and it was very chilly at night. Pillows absolutley need throwing away all filling just bunched in the middle needed to put bed cushions underneath them for any support and comfort. Air conditioning did not work. This hotel is definitley style over substance we were definitley not impressed with this hotel and we wont be returning!
