3rd Visit and a Wonderful Holiday

This is the third time we’ve been to the Bahia Principe Resort at Playa Paraiso. Twice now to the Tenerife and once to the Costa Adeje.

We had a Junior Suite on the 4th floor with a limited sea view. It was beautifully clean and tidy upon arrival and kept that way with the daily maid service.
The hotel grounds, gardens and pool are immaculate and a credit to the staff.
We were on an all-inclusive deal and the food and drink was excellent. A huge choice from the Teide buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were shown to our table for each meal and our glasses were topped up regularly by the attentive staff.
We booked 4 a la carte meals at the specialist restaurants and again the quality of food and service was first class. We further booked and ate at the Delhi Village Indian Restaurant which was delicious ! The Indian was not part of the all-inclusive and we had to pay, but it was good value for money and worth every penny !
Entertainment was varied. Omar and his team were brilliant around the pool during the day and we took part in the daily Aquafit and bingo.
In the evening the main entertainment was in the Village Square, the Queen tribute act (Queen Project) were superb !
Quieter after dinner entertainment was provided each evening on the outdoor terrace with singers and musicians. Some were very good and others not quite so good, but each to their own taste I suppose !
All in all it was a great holiday, so much so that we have already made a reservation for the Costa Adeje side for November next year ! The Tenerife, where we were is due to close in January for a full refurb and is to become adults only on completion.

Some good some not so good

Our third visit to this lovely hotel. The room was spacious with a sea view, not quite the pool view we requested, but still a lovely view. The food is on most occasions amazing, we used the a la carte on 3 nights, absolutely fabulous food and service. The staffOur third visit to this lovely hotel. The food is on most occasions amazing, we used the a la carte on 3 nights, absolutely fabulous food and service. The staff are amazing and very friendly, the cleaners keep the room clean and tidy.
The only criticism was the last night when the food was pretty average. There were only a couple of waiters on duty which made things awkward as we struggled to get a drink and had to clear our table ourselves for the next course. On exiting the restaurant most of the empty tables hadn’t been cleared which looked poor. I don’t blame the staff for this, they are overworked, and any criticism is directed at the management. Whilst we accept that the hotel is closing for a much needed refit, there is no excuse for the customers who have paid for a service and received something less.
We have booked for the other hotel next year , but we remain a little anxious given our recent experience.

Fantastic family holiday

Just returned from a fantastic stay at this resort.
The hotel is abit dated especially the rooms but they are absolutely spotless and cleaned every day with fresh bottles of water put in your fridge every day.
The pool area and entertainment is absolutely fantastic for the family.

A big shout of to Omar and berlisa for keeping us all entertained and making everyone at the hotel feel welcomed and have fun with the family activities and entertainment.
Mary at the pool/snack bar is an absolutely credit to your company and bar.
I’d like to thank Marco who gave a great evening service and keep are tables clean and drinks top up at the main evening lounge bar.
We recommend the Chinese and Mexican la carte restaurants but wasn’t impressed with the Italian la carte due to my 4 year old daughter’s chicken being raw in the middle.
But apart from that the hotel and staff were exceptional and we will be planning on returning hopefully next year at some point.

The hotel staff are always very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean. We are disappointed that the hotel will close early in the New year for renovation but to be honest it is needed. The condition of the building and some room fittings require attention.The hotel staff are always very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean. A wonderful family break

Just returned from a fantastic family holiday at the sunlight tenerife.
We have 2 children aged. 6 and 9 and the hotel has plenty to keep them occupied. We spent most of our pool days in the sister hotel as its much bigger and in my opinion has more entertainment forJust returned from a fantastic family holiday at the sunlight tenerife.

Also big shout out to Omar who was also making sure everyone had a good time, don't know where he gets his energy from!
We upgraded our room to a sea view and was well worth it the views were amazing.
Food was good, but the a la carte restaurants were fantastic, my husband said the best steak he's ever tasted in the grill!
Rooms were spacious and very clean, made up each day along with a bottle of water. We stayed in November so was never a problem getting a sunbed.
The hotel offer a bus to Las America's for 3 euros per person and goes straight there. 1 euro 50 for kids.
Overall fantastic stay, fantastic views, and for those without kids there is a wonderful infinity pool right at the back of the sister hotel which is where we spent our time while the kids were in the kids club! Breathtaking!
