I stayed a couple of weeks ago with my cousin. The room was pleasantly clean and the bed was very comfortable. My cousin had similar sentiments when we were leaving. They provided me with an iron when I needed one. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We both agreedI stayed a couple of weeks ago with my cousin. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We both agreed that we would both stay there again if we were to go to Rome in the future. We had no problems with getting the bus into the city center.

Affordable, nice and cozy hotel

This is a very nice and affordable establishment. We drove into the city center each day and hit traffic on most days which took about 20 minutes. There is a great family owned pizzeria next door making it very convenient for a late night dinner! Our drive from the airportThis is a very nice and affordable establishment. We drove into the city center each day and hit traffic on most days which took about 20 minutes. There is a great family owned pizzeria next door making it very convenient for a late night dinner! Our drive from the airport was about 25 minutes. The rooms are nice and the restroom had a blowdryer. I am from Texas and recommend brining a portable fan if you’re hot natured as the air conditioner did not blow very cold. This is common in Europe though. I did not try the breakfast but the bar area was very nice to get a night cap before bed.

This is a really lovely hotel. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are modern,clean and the bed is nice and comfortable.
The breakfast is a standard European breakfast that you would get in other cities. Sausages, bacon, egg, cereals, bread, fresh fruit, yoghurts. The breakfast is a standard European breakfast that you would get in other cities. Sausages, bacon, egg, cereals, bread, fresh fruit, yoghurts. There’s also lots of delicious pastries to choose from.
Like other reviews say the location isn’t the best but it’s really not that big of a deal. We were happy to have paid a cheaper price than other hotels and then spend a bit more time travelling into Rome. The bus stop is opposite the hotel, Bus 160 will take you to the Colosseum and into the centre of Rome near the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain etc. They are tap on tap off with your card, really cheap, it takes about 20 minutes. We found the 160 bus was a bit hit and miss with turning up on time so we discovered you can also get the 30 which comes more often. It’s really easy to use the Google Maps app to see which stop to get off at. The area around the hotel also feels quite safe.
There’s not a lot of restaurants around the hotel so we ate lunch and dinner in the centre of Rome everyday. Overall the hotel is lovely and we would return!

Lovely clean rooms great staff good breakfast too. Restaurant only open some days per week 70 euros a la cart pizza Restaurant next door is great . 15 minute walk to metro or bus opposite. Comfortable and convenient place.

Lovely hotel,well located near saint mark square,our room gave on to the breakfast area ,nice room old but quaint typical venetian style. Breakfast was varied , you could ask for capucino or other types of coffee.

Lovely central hotel in quiet location

This hotel was part of an Easyjet package so I had not chosen it personally and was ever-so slightly nervous about how it would turn out. I need not have worried. It was a lovely hotel in the old italian style accessed by its own little bridge overThis hotel was part of an Easyjet package so I had not chosen it personally and was ever-so slightly nervous about how it would turn out. I need not have worried. It was a lovely hotel in the old italian style accessed by its own little bridge over a little canal. The instructions on how to find it were very good as we arrived at night and found it within ten minutes of getting off the vaporetto. Our room was next to reception on the ground floor which initially was a little alarming as we thought it would be noisy but I can honestly say it was one of the quietest rooms we have ever had anywhere.
The hotel is only 3 minutes from St Marks Square (once you get your route right!) but it is in such a lovely quiet area.
The room was comfortable and the bathroom massive! My only complaint is that the curtains are decoration only which meant that light did come in through the net curtains. However, I found a couple of elastic bands which managed to hold the curtains together.
The breakfast room was on the first floor. It had a nice selection of cold buffet items which were replenished regularly and an automated pancake maker. The “hot” food was only just warm. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Its not the biggest room so might be a little crowded in high season but in January we were able to find a table easily.
The hotel does have an annexe located nearby but I checked before departure that we were in the main building.
We would not hesitate to stay here again if we return to Venice.

We were here for three nights in January 25, weather cold but blue skies, so we had a lovely visit and walked for miles.
Once we found the hotel we realised what a fabulous location it is, very close to St Marks square. We had a voicemail from the hotelWe were here for three nights in January 25, weather cold but blue skies, so we had a lovely visit and walked for miles.
Once we found the hotel we realised what a fabulous location it is, very close to St Marks square. We had a voicemail from the hotel in the week before we arrived saying that they could arrange a private water taxi for us but it was too expensive. We caught a bus from the airport to the main bus station in Venice then walked about 1.4 miles to the hotel. It took about half an hour and was only tricky whilst dragging suitcases.
Staff in hotel were really nice and friendly.
Issues I had were the room and the breakfast.
Room- our easyjet holiday booking stated a Classic Room which I checked on the hotel website and was impressed by. When we got there the room did not meet up to the website video. It was ok and did have a canal side window but it wasn’t as good as the website Classic room. I checked with reception and he said it was indeed a classic room - No 310. I would be interested to see how noisy it might be on Summer evenings because they have a bar area outside the rooms on that floor and an outside balcony area - bar and balcony closed during our stay.
Food - we had breakfast included and it was self service in an ok dining room but 3 star in my opinion. I wouldn’t want to be in a room that opened onto the breakfast room as some did , the noise during service must be annoying if you want to lie in.

We absolutely adore it. It may not seem like much, but they saved our trip! We were staying somewhere else and were desperate for a place, and not only they were the epitome of hospitality, but also how a 4* hotel should feel like. Close to all the attractions andWe absolutely adore it. It may not seem like much, but they saved our trip! We were staying somewhere else and were desperate for a place, and not only they were the epitome of hospitality, but also how a 4* hotel should feel like. Close to all the attractions and easy to reach by foot. Make sure you are not on the first floor, because it may be noisy during the day. In the night and late evening, nothing to worry about. All of that, for the most reasonable prices we encountered. We definitely recommend!

I just want to thank the staff for making my trip to Venice a truly amazing one the hotel was very nice and the room is what I had in mind and very Renaissance which made me feel very happy.
