Blu Hotel Morisco

We stayed there as a family of three from 17/8/24 to 24/8/24, room 358. We had a great experience there and nothing but praise and admiration for the efficient, hard working staff who move at pace to provide an excellent service for all guests. The hotel and our room were cleaned daily. WiFi was good throughout. Breakfast and dinner were completely to our satisfaction with lots of choice each time. The a/c worked throughout our stay, perhaps not as cold as we’d prefer, being from the U.K. When we had a couple niggles with our room, smiling and friendly maintenance man was there swiftly to sort everything. The hotel is excellently situated with easy access to town and bus stops. The pool is clean with sun beds available daily and no “sun bed wars”! Shout out to Maria Teresa, Martina and the rest of reception staff who were welcoming, friendly and helpful with tips about sightseeing. Shout out to Giampiero, Salvatore and all the chefs and dinner serving staff for providing an excellent buffet every night, which we looked forward to. Shoutout to Claudio in the dining room, friendly and chatty, efficiently cleared our plates. We will definitely return to this hotel. About Sardinia, well, absolutely stunning island with beautiful beaches and delightful cuisine.

Beautiful Cannigione area well positioned Hotel Pool area fantastic comfy loungers Grounds around hotel immaculate beautifully kept. Restaurant was very good but not a lot of options for children, and a little cramped for space ,buffet style so lots of people milling around but food good and wine was nice and good options also had designated table for dinner for whole of stay so no feeling rushed but not relaxing with movement constantly around you Breakfast could sit where you wanted and was something for everyone very good 10/10 Pool Bar small and was smoking area bar drinks expensive , no food service after 2pm but lots of people bringing in pizza and food from local shops so was okay , not happy that glasses were allowed around pool area Entertainment singer a few nights for a short while and that was it ! Rooms , this is where the Hotel lets itself down No written information in rooms No accessible plug sockets very old style and all floor level Own kettle had to be plugged in on floor no tea coffee water provided No glasses in room or bathroom so couldn’t even rinse teeth no water provided on arrival in room Very poor toiletries No bar service menu Basic beds not very comfortable Sofa beds in rooms when not needed and very worn AC was very good in our room Safe provided free so good Balcony chairs very inadequate no arms on chairs just stools with back only 2 chairs even when 4 in room apparently health and safety ? Low table so uncomfortable to sit out. Washing line broken so towels over balcony Spotlessly clean corridors and TV area carpets spotless Reception area toilets not very good need upgrade Cleaners worked hard as did waiters When we booked with Jet 2 half board plus was 120 euro per stay but was then changed to 80 euros even when contacted Jet2 was assured would be honoured but was not ! Jet2 Reps were not good not forthcoming with any help or advice be it regarding hotel or information around resort, expected far more from Jet2 Sardinia is not an economy holiday so all in all very good value hotel but in our experience not 4 star standard and needs to be recognised as expectations will not be met by all travellers Sardinia beautiful and very relaxing and if you have a yacht you can’t go wrong if booking Hotel make sure you book car hire to enjoy at its fullest Would I recommend hotel Yes I would as good value .
