    Step out of the hustle and bustle into the quiet tranquil haven of Hotel Rapallo

    Hotel Rapallo is perfectly placed to reach most things on Florence, including public transport. It is a quiet tranquil haven in the middle of hectic Florence with plenty of staff quietly on hand to help. The breakfast was excellent, my sister is celiac and there was a good choice of food for her. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

    Excellent boutique hotel - great location! The staff is super helpful, the provided great recommendations for restaurants and handled reservations for us. Lovely breakfast spread. The hotel was perfect- 10 minute walk to the center of the city, lots of great restaurants nearby. Nicely appointed rooms.

    Great small hotel in Florence

    Hotel Rapallo was a great find in Florence. It was a good location, clean, quiet, good value with accommodating and friendly staff. I liked that the location was not in the middle of town as it was extremely busy there. The hotel is located right next to a park which made it nice and quiet and removed from the action, but also convenient to walk to the attractions. It was only about 7 min walk to Medici Chapels, 10-15 minute walk to SMN train station. It took about 15 to walk to the Duomo and 20 to walk to Uffizi/Palazzo Vecchio. The room had all the necessities and the online photos were extremely accurate. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was good, but I did not know you could reserve in advance which I would do in the future as it did get crowded at times. I found the Hotel Rapallo to be a great value that met all my requirements and would stay here again if I am in Florence.

    We stayed at hotel Rapallo for five nights over the Easter period 2026. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had picked the right place for our holiday. The decor is excellent and tasteful throughout the whole hotel, it's very modern but welcoming, and this is carried over to our room which was elegant, spacious, and well-appointed , and kept spotlessly clean by excellent housekeeping staff.The room contained a safe and mini-fridge (which was thoughtfully kept stocked with water during our stay). The bathroom was also stocked with some very nice bits and pieces...travel toothbrushes, body lotion, vanity kits, shower gel, etc...all very nice too.The overall ambience is carried through to the breakfast room which is bright, elegant and well laid-out. The selection of breakfast items is very good, with a great variety of fruits, cheeses, cold meats, yoghurts and juices, plus scrambled eggs and delicious crispy bacon. There's also a menu for hot freshly cooked items like omelettes if you prefer. Quality of the food and drinks is very high and breakfast service was outstanding.The hotel's location is spot on. It's far enough from the centre to be quiet, but close enough to be really handy to the places you want to see. You're about a 20 minute walk from the Duomo for example. You're also very close to the train station too, but you should be aware that the footpath to and from the station is narrow and very uneven... not the easiest walk for those with mobility problems or lots of heavy luggage. I will finish this review by mentioning the staff who are the true highlight of Hotel Rapallo - friendly, warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about making guests feel at home. We'd like to particularly mention Rino and Bryan and of course Signor Lorenzo, who offered really helpful local tips, arranged reservations for us, and greeted us each time with a smile and friendly chat. Their knowledge of the city and willingness to go the extra mile made our stay really memorable. Grazie mille a tutti voi!! We really enjoyed our stay at Rapallo and if we ever are lucky enough to visit Firenze again, we will definitely stay again if they have room for us!!

    We Would Stay Here Again! Great Hotel!

    We spent three nights at Hotel Rapallo during our stay in Florence. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The location of the hotel was very conveniently located allowing us to walk to everything we wanted to do in Florence while we were there. The breakfast was delicious and we made use of the evening cocktail time one night to take a breather before dinner. The staff was very accommodating. We would stay here again.
