Location

The hotel is within easy reach of Cairns’ shopping centres, galleries, restaurants and nightclubs. Visitors can take their family to the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, home to over 1500 magnificent tropical butterflies and Cairns Tropical Zoo, home to a wide array of animals and birds. Cairns International Airport is approximately 7 km from the youth hostel.

Facility

The hostel has 120 rooms, including 14 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hostel include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hostel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom.
