  Disappointing breakfast and service

  The breakfast was served from 8:00 to 10:00, but when we went around 9:30 there was almost no food left. The quality of the food was poor and the service was not satisfactory either. Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations.

  The hotel is dirty, moldy in places, unkept, the room smells of smoke. We were in room 4, but they only had 3 towels. We asked for more, they brought us. They didn't bring anything. There was no regular cleaning either. Breakfast was a disaster - hard-boiled eggs, one salami, one cheese, tomatoes, cucumber and that's it.

  The rooms are quite small and cramped and the bathrooms have NO amenities except toilet paper. Not even hand soap or a single hook to hang your clothes. Well, they had a hair dryer but I was kinda scared to use it as the wire looked damaged. The rooms are not very well maintained and you can see they are old and slightly falling apart. Its close to the Taksim square, but there are many hotels in the locality (Its kind of on a back alleyway so it gets dark at night and you have to take a small flight of stairs right outside the hotel to get on the main road). The staff is not rude but neither are they helpful and seem mostly untrained. They didn't have a breakfast service and I don't think they even provided water bottles. The upside was since we didn't really feel like ever being in the room, we spent all our day exploring Taksim. Also it looks nothing like the pictures.

  We arrived at the hotel and the rooms were nothing like the images shown. We had booked 2 rooms just for reference. When they took us to our room not one light were working, they replaced one bulb and left us like that for the duration of the holiday and never attempted to replace the others. The lighting was shocking. The rooms were tiny, my mums room had a big hole in the bathroom wall which looked like it should have been an air vent. Our shower leaked everytime we used it, had to use multiple towels to mop it up and had to then hang them up to dry them out to reuse them to dry the floor next time as we didn't get fresh towels. My mum's room her toilet constantly leaked and again she had to leave a towel wrapped around the bottom of it and the tap was dripping the whole time. Both rooms weren't overlay clean, the beds werent too bad but at the end of the holiday i moved the bed to check we had everything and found a bed runner that should have been on the bottom of the bed and never was, under the bed with a dirty old sock. Plugs were hanging off the wall and our fridge smelt horrendous! We had to use our mum's fridge in her room as hers were ok. Never had our room cleaned, bin was over following by the end of our trip. Also wasn't until we met our friends there that we was told it was a rough area to be staying in and to next time avoid it as there was alot of gun crime in that area! The hotel did have a lift and was only a few minutes walk to Taksim Square. Overall I wouldnt return to this hotel, I will be letting my friends sort our future accommodation next time.

  Service going out of their way to be rude and unhelpful. Does not get you in, when they do they don't give you the key, when they do they don't activate it. All the time on the phone as 10 people wait. Dirty rooms, dirty towels, dirty sheets. Doesn't deserve a single star let alone 5... Absolutely disgusting. Stay away for your own sake. Would't come here if they payed me.
