This hotel is located in the district of Beyazit, roughly 400 m from the attractions of the Sultanahmet and the same distance again from the Kumkapi area by the Marmaris Sea, which is famous for its fish restaurants.     I had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The food was also very delicious. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely come back again.

    The location is great, near to all the famous tourist attractions (15 minutes walk) ,breakfast is very generous-catering for dairy allergies as well.The hotel itself is dated, and would benefit from refurbishment/modernisation, but for a short stay 2-3 nights it’s fine, it is reflected in the price you pay!It’s clean, the front room is a bit noisy at night.Reception staff are very nice, helpful, speak good English.The roof terrace views are very nice:)

    Hotel Gedik Pasa Konagi is a real gem. Great location 400 m to Beyazit, less than a km to Blue Mosque. Yes, you need to go up a bit, to reach the nearest tram station (it's T1 on Beyazit), but all Istambul is up and down, if you need a flat city visit St. Petersburg.It's an Ottoman house, but the basement is older and looks like Byzantine. Breakfast is served in the basement, it's a very atmospheric space. There is a terrace on the roof furnished with tables and chairs, and is a great place to smoke while admiring the view of the Sea of ​​Marmara and the Blue Mosque.The stairs are quite steep, guests with limited mobility or large heavy suitcases should think about it.The room has everything you may need: a kettle, cups (tea and coffee you can take at the reception or during breakfast, free of charge), slippers, a small frige, a hairdryer, TV and a safe. Umbrellas and even a corkscrew are available at the reception. WiFi is free and works good. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are excellent. Towels are changed daily. The breakfasts are splendid (open buffet). Friendly and attentive staff are happy to help at any moment.

    I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Istanbul. The staff made me feel truly welcomed and comfortable.
