Couples Holidays to Greece

Our strongest couples resorts combine a calm atmosphere, good dining and views that suit a slow, romantic pace.

• Oia, Santorini: Oia sits at the northern tip of Santorini and is the island's best-known setting for sunset views over the caldera. Many of the cave-style and cliffside suites here have terraces facing west, which makes evenings feel unhurried. The trade-off is that the village becomes busy in the early evening during peak season, so we recommend booking a room with a private terrace and arriving before the crowds gather. For couples who want an iconic backdrop, this remains our first choice. It is exactly the brief our Santorini holidays deals are built around.
• Little Venice, Mykonos: Little Venice is a row of waterfront houses in Mykonos Town with wooden balconies hanging over the sea, and it is the setting for many couples' evening drinks and dinners. The windmills sit a short walk away, giving you a classic Cycladic view without leaving the town. Hotels here tend to be small and characterful, though rooms can be compact and prices rise sharply in July and August. We favour this part of Mykonos for couples who enjoy nightlife and dining as much as beaches.
• Naxos Chora: Naxos Chora is a relaxed harbour town centred on a historic Venetian castle and a network of narrow lanes, making it one of the most restful bases in the Cyclades. The island is the largest in the group, so couples can combine town evenings with beaches and walking routes in the interior. It is noticeably quieter than the more famous party islands nearby, which means fewer evening crowds but also fewer late-night options. For a romantic stay that feels genuinely calm, the same brief our Greece Adults Only Holidays deals are built around, we rate this base very highly.
• Paros, Parikia: Parikia is the main town on Paros and has a traditional whitewashed harbour with cafés and waterside tavernas that suit couples wanting a lively but not frantic evening. Beaches on the west coast are reached by a short transfer, giving you a choice between sheltered coves and open sand. Paros is less crowded than Mykonos or Santorini, and ferries from the mainland port make it straightforward to reach. Its strength is the balance of town life and beach time, which is exactly the brief our Cheap Greece Holidays deals are built around, and we find it works well for a second week on an island.
• Corfu Town: Corfu Town combines a UNESCO-listed Old Town, a Venetian fortress and a waterfront promenade, giving couples a mix of history and easy evening walks. Flights from several UK airports land directly on the island, which keeps journey time down compared with many Aegean options. The island's green interior and sandy east and west coasts add variety beyond the town. For couples who want heritage, greenery and direct flights in one trip, this base offers a strong all-round option. It is exactly the brief our Corfu holidays deals are built around.
