All Inclusive Solo Holidays to Croatia

These are the all inclusive resort bases we recommend for travellers who want food, drink and a social setting on arrival.

• Rovinj: Rovinj is a small fishing town on a peninsula, and its all inclusive hotels sit a short walk from the old quarter and its seafront restaurants. The trade-off is that the town is compact and busy in summer, so you will want to plan evenings early or book the quieter hotels set slightly back from the harbour. We find it works well for solo guests who want an easy, walkable base with good food and a sense of local character. Its position in western Croatia also makes it a practical starting point for exploring the wider peninsula at your own pace. It is exactly the brief our island holidays deals are built around. It is exactly the brief our island holidays deals in the Adriatic are built around. It is exactly the brief our Hvar holidays deals are built around.
• Porec: Porec is a coastal town with a sheltered harbour and a long promenade lined with hotels, several of which offer all inclusive packages. Its beaches are mainly pebbled and sandy stretches close to the town, and the resort areas tend to be lively during peak season. For a solo traveller, the mix of cafés, walks and organised excursions within easy reach makes it an easy place to settle into, the same brief our Croatia Family Holidays deals are built around. We recommend it to guests who want a social, well-connected resort without having to travel far for variety.
• Hvar: Hvar is a central Dalmatian island reached by ferry from the mainland, and its resort hotels sit around a historic harbour with a lively waterfront. Its strong sunshine and lavender-scented landscape are a draw, though the nightlife and the island's popularity mean rooms book up quickly in peak months. For solo travellers, the harbour offers an easy way to meet people in the evenings. We suggest it for those who want island sunshine with the option of a social evening close at hand.
• Makarska Riviera: The Makarska Riviera runs along the mainland coast south of the main ferry port and has a string of resort hotels with beaches and mountain views behind them. Many properties offer all inclusive meal plans, and the coastline is easy to reach by bus from the larger towns. The trade-off is that it is more spread out than a compact harbour town, so you may rely on buses for days out. We like it for solo guests who want a quieter beach base with a good balance of relaxation and access, the same brief our Croatia Last Minute Holidays deals are built around.
• Pag island: Pag island is a long, sparsely developed island in the northern Adriatic, with a dry landscape and a number of resort hotels concentrated near its towns and beaches. Its limestone coastline and clear water appeal to guests who want space and quiet, though the island has fewer nightlife options than the busier resorts. Ferry links connect it to the mainland, which makes it a practical choice for travellers who prefer a slower pace, the same brief our Cheap Croatia Holidays deals are built around. We recommend it to solo visitors who value calm surroundings and a simple, all inclusive routine.
