Holidays from Bristol to Croatia

Our Bristol departures link you to the main Croatian gateways, and the destination airport you fly into shapes how quickly you reach the coast.

• Dubrovnik: Dubrovnik is the southern gateway, and its airport sits a shuttle bus or taxi ride from the walled old town, so the transfer is short. We recommend it for travellers who want to start a holiday close to the city walls and the sea. The trade-off is that summer arrivals can feel busy at the old town gates, so we suggest booking an early-day transfer when you land. It is exactly the brief our Dubrovnik holidays deals are built around.
• Split: Split airport is linked to the city centre by airport shuttle buses and taxis, which makes it a convenient base for the central coast. From the city you can reach Diocletian's ancient complex on foot and take ferries to the islands without a long journey first. The main consideration is that the ferry timetable shapes your day, so we plan island trips around the sailings rather than around the airport.
• Zagreb: Zagreb is the capital in the north, and the airport has a direct bus into the city, which keeps the transfer simple for city-break travellers. It suits visitors who want museums, cafés and the historic upper town of Gradec before heading elsewhere. The trade-off is that the coast is a longer onward journey, so we advise staying in the capital for a short stay or combining it with a separate trip south.
• Flight time: The typical flight time from the UK is around two hours and forty-five minutes, which makes Croatia a manageable journey for a short break as well as a longer stay. Once you land, the transfer to your resort is the next part of the day to plan, and it varies by airport and destination. We confirm departure details by phone when you book, as schedules and routes can change, so the timings we give you reflect the arrangements for your specific trip. It is exactly the brief our Croatia holidays deals are built around.
• Direct-route check: Because routes and airlines from Bristol can change from season to season, we confirm departure airports, flight times and transfer arrangements with you directly when you book. Our Direct-route check keeps this simple: we do not guess at schedules, and we set out the transfer from the destination airport to your accommodation so you know what to expect on arrival. This is the same brief our Croatia Adults Only Holidays deals are built around, giving clear planning whether you are travelling as a couple or need to reach a ferry on the same day.
