Last Minute Couples Holidays to Croatia

Our couples resorts are chosen for walkable old towns, sea views and evenings that feel unhurried, not for the largest hotel count.

• Dubrovnik: Last Minute Couples Resorts in Sidari: Looking for a romantic escape on Corfu that comes together at short notice? Sidari, on the island's north-west coast, offers adults-only hotels, sunset cliff walks, and sheltered coves ideal for couples. With flights and transfers included in your Travelodeal package, you can book a last minute and simply focus on each other. It is exactly the brief our Dubrovnik holidays deals are built around.
• Hvar Town: Hvar Town offers a romantic waterfront lined with bars and restaurants, and the fortress above the harbour gives one of the finest sunset views on the Dalmatian islands. The island is reached by ferry from Split, which means a rough crossing is possible in poor weather and sailings should be booked in advance for summer. Lavender fields across the island add scenery for a daytime walk before you settle in for dinner. We would pick Hvar for couples who want a lively harbour evening without the scale of a larger resort. It is exactly the brief our Hvar holidays deals are built around.
• Rovinj: Rovinj sits on a peninsula in Istria, with cobbled streets climbing to the Church of St Euphemia and seafront restaurants on the water below. Its quiet, romantic character suits couples who prefer a small historic town to a busy resort strip, and the surrounding Istrian wine and truffle culture gives plenty to do over a long weekend. The trade-off is that Istria is best reached by car or a longer transfer from the airport, so we factor that travel time into the itinerary, the same planning approach our Croatia Last Minute Holidays deals are built around. Rovinj is a strong choice for slow evenings and good food.
• Korcula: Korcula is a walled island town with a calmer pace than the larger historic city further south, and a harbour lined with restaurants that suit an evening out together. It is reached by ferry from the mainland peninsula opposite or from the southern port city itself, and the crossing adds a short but scheduled journey that we build into your transfer plan, the same kind of planning our Croatia holidays deals are built around. The old town is compact enough to explore on foot in an afternoon, and it has a reputation as the birthplace of Marco Polo, which adds a talking point over dinner. Korcula works well for couples who want a quieter base in the south.
• Plitvice Lakes: Plitvice Lakes National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where sixteen interlinked lakes cascade through forest, and an early morning visit brings quiet walkways before the tour groups arrive. It is inland, so it works as a day trip or a two-centre stay rather than a beach base, and transfers from the coast take a significant part of the day. The early entry gives a calmer, more intimate walk that most couples find memorable. We suggest it as a single special day within a longer Croatian stay, the same kind of planned excursion our Croatia All Inclusive Holidays deals are built around.
