Package Holidays to Thailand

Our best-selling resort areas combine easy airport access with well-established hotels and beaches that suit a first visit.

• Phuket: Phuket is Thailand's largest island and our most popular resort base, with a wide choice of hotels spread across its western beaches and a busy nightlife strip for evenings out. The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge and has its own international airport with direct flights from the capital, which keeps transfers short after a long-haul arrival. Its range of accommodation is the widest in the country, so it suits travellers who want choice in both price and style. We would point families and first-time visitors here first. It is exactly the brief our Thailand holidays deals are built around.
• Koh Samui: Koh Samui is the largest island in the Gulf of Thailand and a well-established resort destination with a steady run of beaches and family-friendly hotels. Its airport allows direct access from the capital, so you avoid a long overland transfer after arriving in the country. Ferries from Nathon Pier connect to neighbouring islands, including the popular diving island of Ko Tao, if you want to explore further. For resort comfort on an easy island base, it remains one of our most reliable recommendations.
• Krabi (Ao Nang): Ao Nang sits on the Krabi coast and works as the mainland gateway to limestone cliffs and the island trips that run from its beach. It is a compact resort town where most restaurants and shops are within walking distance of the sand, which suits couples and active travellers who want scenery without a long commute. The boat trips to nearby islands depart from here, so you can plan days on the water without changing hotels. It is a good middle choice between the livelier Andaman hubs and the quieter south.
• Chiang Mai: Chiang Mai is the largest city in northern Thailand, surrounded by mountains and anchored by its old walled town and hundreds of Buddhist temples. Its resort-style hotels are generally quieter and cooler than those on the southern coasts, making it a sensible base for travellers who prefer culture and hills to sun loungers, the same brief our Thailand Adults Only Holidays deals are built around. A short trip takes you to Doi Suthep temple above the city, and the pace is noticeably slower than in the capital. We recommend it as a pairing with a beach stay rather than a standalone trip for most guests.
• Khao Lak: Khao Lak is a stretch of Andaman coast with calm, gently shelving beaches and quieter resorts that suit families who want space and a slower rhythm. Jungle excursions into the national park are close enough to fit neatly around a relaxed beach stay. The trade-off is fewer late-night options and fewer big-name hotels than the island resort hubs further south, which is exactly why many repeat guests choose it. For a calmer resort holiday on the mainland coast, it is one we consistently recommend.
