All Inclusive Couples Holidays to Thailand

The islands offer some of the most scenic settings for couples, with boat connections linking quieter bays to larger resort areas.

• Koh Yao Noi: Koh Yao Noi lies in the bay between the island's famous neighbour to the south and the coastal town across the water opposite, and its scenic villages and quiet beaches attract couples who want a low-key stay with little traffic. Boat links to the coast are part of the trip, and the island's pace suits travellers who prefer walking the shoreline to visiting busy strips. It is the kind of quiet, considered escape our Thailand holidays are built around, and we think this island is a strong choice for pairs who want seclusion without losing access to the larger resort areas nearby.
• Koh Tao: Koh Tao is a small island in the Gulf of Thailand, reached by ferry from the neighbouring larger island to the north, and it is well known for its clear water and diving. Couples who enjoy snorkelling or a day on a boat will find the island compact and easy to explore on foot or by scooter. In our view, this island rewards travellers who want an active stay with quiet evenings afterwards, the same brief our Thailand Luxury Holidays deals are built around.
• Koh Phangan: Koh Phangan is reached by ferry from the Nathon Pier, and its beaches range from quiet coves to livelier areas with bars and restaurants. Couples can choose a resort on one of the calmer bays and take a short ferry trip when they want something different. We recommend this island for those who like a balance of seclusion and easy access to other islands.
• Koh Lanta: Koh Lanta is a long, laid-back island in the south of Thailand, reached by ferry from the nearby port on the peninsula or from the larger island hub to the south, and it feels considerably less developed than that busier neighbour. Its long beaches give couples plenty of room to walk and relax, and resorts here tend to be lower-rise and quieter. We think the island suits pairs who want space and a slower rhythm rather than a busy resort strip. It is exactly the brief our Thailand Beach Holidays deals are built around.
• Koh Yao Yai: Koh Yao Yai sits beside its neighbour in the bay of the southern Thai coast and is one of the quieter islands in the region, with few large hotels and a rural feel. Couples who want to step away from resort crowds will find its villages and beaches restful, though facilities are more limited than on larger islands. Our view is that it works best for a shorter stay on a traveller's wish list of unhurried places, the same brief our Cheap Thailand Holidays deals are built around.
