Holidays from London to Morocco

Our London departure options focus on the main Moroccan gateways, with transfer times from each destination airport shown so you can judge the journey before you book.

• Marrakech Menara Airport: Marrakech Menara Airport is the main gateway for travellers who want the classic blend of souks, riads and imperial history. Flights from London typically take around 3h 30m to 4h 30m depending on the departure airport, and the taxi ride from the airport into the city centre is short enough that most guests reach their riad within the first hour of landing. We recommend agreeing the fare in advance or insisting on the meter, as this keeps the start of your holiday straightforward and predictable. It is exactly the brief our Morocco holidays deals are built around.
• Agadir Al Massira Airport: Agadir Al Massira Airport is the natural choice for families and sun-seekers heading to the long sandy bay on the Atlantic coast. The shorter transfer from the airport to the resort suits travellers with young children who want to reach the pool and beach quickly after a long day of travel. The airport serves a modern resort rather than a historic city, so it is best suited to a straightforward beach holiday with the sunshine and facilities that the coast is known for.
• Casablanca Mohammed V Airport: Mohammed V Airport handles a wide range of onward connections and serves Morocco's largest port and main commercial hub. Travellers using it as a starting point will find the surrounding business district a practical base for a short exploration before heading inland by train. Rail links run from the airport area towards the north and inland cities, so this route suits guests who want to combine a coastal arrival with a train journey to the imperial cities.
• Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport: Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport serves the city closest to the Strait of Gibraltar, the point on the African mainland nearest to Europe, which makes it a short-haul gateway for travellers who want a different start to their trip. Ferry links to Spain are available from the port, so guests exploring the north can combine air and sea travel in one itinerary. This route is a good fit for those who want to see the Rif Mountains and the blue mountain town reachable by bus from the airport area.
• Essaouira Mogador Airport: Mogador Airport serves a fortified seaside town with a UNESCO-listed medina, and its smaller regional airport offers a quieter arrival than the major hubs. The town lies a considerable distance from the imperial city, so guests choosing this gateway should expect a longer transfer if they plan to combine the coast with a city stay. For a relaxed coastal stay with windy beaches, artisan workshops and harbour views, the trade-off of a slightly longer onward journey is worth it.
