A lovely hotel on the the edge of the strip but are not disturbed by noise at all. Any problems with rooms etc are quick to be resolved. Staff always happy & welcoming. Comfortable sun beds. I was pleasantly suprised with this hotel. I was expecting the absolute worse because of all the bad reviews saying they were placed in the accommodation across the road. Upon arrival we were shown to our room which was in the main hotel. The room was really nice and clean.I was pleasantly suprised with this hotel. The room was really nice and clean. The staff were lovely and really helpful with everything. The maid was lovely and cleaned our room everyday. The pool area is beautiful and there are always free sunbeds. The food was very disappointing (breakfast and tea) not many options and just very bland but we ate out everyday for tea anyway as there are some nice restaurants around the area. The lunch menu is nice at the hotel - and the drinks are quite reasonable - service is really good and all staff are lovely and friendly. The only things that I would say they could improve on is they are very tight with toilet roll they don’t give you much we had to ask for more twice - but not really a big deal. Also the food wasn’t nice - tried the evening buffet once and won’t be going back. Other than that I thinks it’s deffo the nicest hotel in kavos. It’s a little bit out of the centre of kavos so it’s nice and quiet but also just a short 5 min walk from the main area bars and restaurants.

Overall we would not visit again. There were some issues with the room. Our balcony view was non-existent, opening straight into an air conditioning unit sandwiched between two buildings. The area is very much tailored to young people so not advisable if you are a couple seeking a quiet time.Overall we would not visit again. There were some issues with the room. The area is very much tailored to young people so not advisable if you are a couple seeking a quiet time. The beach was lovely and the sea was beautiful. The main plus side were the staff who were always very approachable and helpful. We would recommend the poolside bar and excellent cocktails - great for an evening wind-down. The swimming pool area was clean and pleasant but was not large enough for the number of guests. The breakfast and evening meal was average - there were no drinks provided in the evening, however, if you ordered off the menu and paid, the food was much better.

Ekati Mare is in Kavos, not in the centre so you can enjoy quiet atmosphere. The swimming pool is big enough and plenty of loungers, you can rent out a beach towel from the reception. Our accommodation was beautiful, spacious and clean, we had a Deluxe room with a balcony.Ekati Mare is in Kavos, not in the centre so you can enjoy quiet atmosphere. The swimming pool is big enough and plenty of loungers, you can rent out a beach towel from the reception. Our accommodation was beautiful, spacious and clean, we had a Deluxe room with a balcony. Two tiers in the room so we had a living area downstairs and a sleeping area upstairs, a shower and 2 toilets. And of course the balcony. Ekati Mare has a dinning area, we had breakfasts and suppers included in our stay, the food was great and a lot of choice. For lunch, you can order at the pool bar from the menu but we tried couple of places in Kavos too. I would definitely recommend Roussos restaurant, which is 7 min away and the food is amazing!! Overall, Ekati Mare is an amazing place to stay, and they will expand next year! Highly recommended!

On arrival we received a very friendly welcome from staff; we were shown to our room which had been upgraded to one of the new ones, a really nice room. The room had a king size bed, toilet, shower room and washbasin within the main bedroom area. There was a chairOn arrival we received a very friendly welcome from staff; we were shown to our room which had been upgraded to one of the new ones, a really nice room. The room had a king size bed, toilet, shower room and washbasin within the main bedroom area. There was a chair and cupboard with tv on the wall. The room had a hair dryer, 2 drawers and one hanging rail. Shower gel was provided and on day 1 we were given 2 small bottles of water, 2 coffee sachets, 2 tea bags, 4 milk. The air con was amazing and the shower nice and powerful with plenty hot water. The towels were changed daily and the bed was also changed most days, the cleaner did a good job. The pool area was clean and safe, lots of sun beds even though the hotel was fully booked. Pool bar food was good, drinks average price. The restaurant was clean, buffet style for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast had lots of cold options, there was cooked breakfast, usual sausage, bacon, eggs etc bread for toast, cakes, pastries, fruits and yogurt. The coffee machine was self service, there was also orange juice, water etc Dinner was a different style each evening, most of the food was cold which was a shame. The buffet pans had lift off lids so there was really no where to put them whilst holding your plate and trying to dish up, so the lids ended up on top of other buffet pans. There was an outside seating area as well as dine in. As others have mentioned there are about 3 cats that hang around the tables, if you ignore them they just lie down but if guests start feeding them they tend to meow for more food. The main issue are the wasps and hornets, whilst sitting eating the wasps land on your food and hover around tables. We witnessed several families get up and leave their food, this caused some people distress. It may help if the hotel put up some insececutors, citronella etc When we checked out we were given a little leaving gift of olive oil, honey and a fig bar, this was a very nice touch. The staff were very polite and helpful, they even arranged for an early breakfast on our departure morning due to early transfer. The hotel was in the quiet area of the town, the Kavos strip is further down the road but doesn’t tend to get busy until later on. We never saw any trouble, yes there are loads of youngsters around but they just want to have fun. We never felt worried or threatened in any way whilst there. The Kavos beach isn’t the best, it is Sandy and shallow which is nice but there is litter strewn around.
