Cheap Family Holidays to Morocco

Coastal resorts offer the best value for families who want pools, beaches and easy meals on site.

• Agadir: Agadir is the most established family resort on the Atlantic coast, with a long sandy bay and a promenade lined with restaurants and cafes. The resort has a broad choice of hotels with kids' clubs, pools and family rooms, which keeps the cost per person sensible when you share accommodation. Its main trade-off is that it feels more like a conventional beach town than an authentic Moroccan city, so you will need to take a short trip to the medina for culture. For families who put a beach and reliable facilities first, it remains the strongest value choice. It is exactly the brief our Morocco Family Holidays deals are built around.
• Mohammedia: Mohammedia sits roughly half an hour north of the big city along the Atlantic coast and offers a quieter alternative to the busier resorts. Its beaches are more relaxed, and families often find accommodation options at lower rates than in the larger coastal towns. The downside is a smaller choice of restaurants and on-site activities, so it suits families who plan to spend days on the sand rather than in organised clubs. Travellers weighing a calm, budget-conscious base with easy airport access will find this is the same brief our Morocco Last Minute Holidays deals are built around.
• Sidi Ifni: Sidi Ifni is a small, laid-back coastal town in the south with a distinctive Art Deco old town and a relaxed Atlantic beach. It appeals to families who want a low-key holiday away from large resort complexes, the same brief our Morocco All Inclusive Holidays deals are built around, and accommodation tends to be modest and inexpensive. Getting there takes longer than to the main resort, and the choice of entertainment is limited, so plan your days around the beach and short excursions. It is an excellent budget option for families who value space and simplicity.
• Saidia: Saidia is a developing resort on the Mediterranean coast near the Algerian border, with long sandy beaches and newer hotels aimed at families. Its calmer seas suit younger children, and the lower cost of living can translate into good-value packages. The resort is less established than the main Atlantic resort, so the range of restaurants and evening entertainment is narrower. It works well for families who want a fresh Mediterranean setting at a competitive price.
• Cabo Negro: Cabo Negro is a small coastal village on the northern Mediterranean coast of Morocco, known for its sheltered beaches and fishing harbour. Families who prefer a quiet spot with straightforward access to the Rif coast often choose it for value. Accommodation is limited compared with the big resorts, so book early in peak months and expect a more local atmosphere. It is a practical pick for families who want something a little different at a modest price.
