Cheap Holidays to Morocco in September

Resort stays give September travellers the simplest route to sunshine, sea views and predictable daily costs.

• Agadir: Looking for cheap resorts in September? Acharavi, on Corfu's north-west coast, is a strong choice for budget-conscious travellers. Its long sandy beach, relaxed family-run tavernas and easy access to Roda and the Kassiopi road make it ideal for a warm, uncrowded late-summer break. September brings sea temperatures still in the mid-twenties and lower accommodation rates than the peak weeks of July and August, so you can enjoy good value without sacrificing sunshine. It is exactly the brief our Morocco Beach Holidays deals are built around.
• Taghazout: Taghazout is a small fishing village a short drive north of its larger neighbour, where the pace is slower and the coastline more rugged. Travellers who want quieter evenings and a more local feel often find better value here than on the busier resort strips, although accommodation choice is smaller. Transfers from the airport take longer than to the central resort, so factor that into your total journey time. It is a good option for those who prefer a low-key coastal base in September.
• Essaouira Resort Area: This coastal town combines a fortified seaside old quarter with a windy beach that suits relaxed travellers and those keen on watersports. In September the winds often remain lively, which is a plus for surfers and kitesurfers but less ideal for those wanting still sea days. Accommodation tends to be modest and characterful rather than large-scale, so prices can work well for couples and small groups. We recommend it for travellers seeking a calmer coastal town with a distinct character. It is exactly the brief our Morocco Last Minute Holidays deals are built around.
• Sidi Kaouki: Sidi Kaouki is a quiet beach village along the coast with a long open shoreline and a laid-back atmosphere. It is well suited to travellers who want space and sea air rather than nightlife, and budget-friendly guesthouse stays keep costs low. The drawback is limited amenities, so you will need to plan meals and day trips in advance. For a restful September coastal break on a budget, it is one of our better-value picks.
• Mirleft: Mirleft is a small coastal village on the Atlantic side of the Anti-Atlas, known for its fishing harbour and wide beaches. It attracts travellers who prefer simplicity and natural scenery over built-up resort life, and that usually means lower prices for accommodation. Road transfers from larger airports are longer, which adds to travel time, so it works best for those willing to make the journey. We find it rewarding for travellers seeking a quieter beach base at a competitive cost.
