If you want a very nice place to lay your head, keep your things and centrally located, give Hotel Alif Avenidas a try! The staff spoke very good English, and they were always very helpful, kind and professional. The Metro is minutes away on foot, the location is very clean and safe to walk about, even after dark. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious, for a reasonable extra charge from the room cost. They use elevators, which was a lovely plus. And there are many restaurants within close proximity. My room was on the 7th floor so road noise was not an issue, however, the planes were allowed to fly over until about midnight, but I believe they didn't start up again until after 5 or 6 am.

Well located just opposite Sao Sebastian metro station (which connects to both the airport/Oriente train station and the main part of the city Praca do Commercio, etc). There are good restaurant options nearby and the Cort de Ingles is nearby for shopping. Room was fairly spacious with A/C, comfy bed, fridge, water, safe, the usual amenities, etc. It was quiet enough too (as we were rear-facing) though some of the soundproofing isn't great, especially in the bathroom). Check in and check out were quick. We didn't use any of the other facilities like the breakfast or restaurant. Was perfectly fine for the three nights we were in town and the price was very competitive. Would stay again.

When I booked this hotel I was a bit hesitant that it might be far from the centre of Lisbon, however I was positively surprised to see that it is very well connected and in a perfect location with good transportation (metro 2mins away). The hotel and room was very clean and the staff were all very friendly. The room and bathroom was of the perfect size. I was also very impressed with the good noise insulation of the windows - in general the area was not noisy and you could enjoy a good night's sleep. Really close to a big shopping centre with lots of options for food (From main restaurants to cafes and supermarkets). I would recommend to this hotel for a nice enjoyable stay in Lisbon.

If your looking to save a bit on accommodation this hotel is ideal . A little outside the centre but easily accessible by the 4 train lines . The Red line brings you from the airport to S. Sebastian. Hotel is located right outside across the road . Rooms are small but clean . Coffee making in the room also but no milk . Fridge small and . Safe for your passports etc . Tv but not many English channels air con . Hotel promotes a bar but wasn’t open for our stay - maybe during summer months . Lovely restaurants near by - would recommend Italy - 5 minute walk . Friendly staff -Abdul particularly helpful .

I really enjoyed the location of this hotel. Right beside it was a shopping center where we could go to a sizable supermarket and other shops and the most convenient laundromat, too. Located in a quiet area yet we found everything we needed around the vicinity. Our room was spacious enough for our things and very clean, our beds very comfortable. I had a bit of a rough start when checking in our group. The guy at the Front Desk (manager, I believe) was not very personable. We resolved it after a bit. Maybe he was having a bad day and I was tired. The rest of the personnel I came across were accommodating. The guy we asked info for good restaurants to try went out of his way to help us. Appreciate that. Food was pretty good at the hotel. Loved the bread and the breakfast spread was not bad at all. Would still stay there again and recommend it to others.
