Holidays from Liverpool to Morocco

Routes from Liverpool are arranged around the airports where your flight lands, so the transfer length is the main factor to weigh before booking.

• Marrakech: Marrakech is the most common arrival point for Liverpool travellers, with flights typically taking around three and a half to four and a half hours depending on the departure airport. Marrakech Menara Airport sits a short taxi ride from the walled medina, so you can reach a riad courtyard the same afternoon. We recommend this route for first-time visitors who want the imperial city experience without a long transfer. It is exactly the brief our Morocco holidays deals are built around.
• Agadir: Agadir Al Massira Airport serves the long sandy bay of Agadir, and the transfer to most beach hotels is a relatively short drive along the coast road. This route suits families and sun-seekers who want a resort base with reliable beach weather. Because the airport is compact, arrival and baggage collection tend to move quickly, which helps when travelling with young children.
• Fes: Fes is reached through Fes-Saiss Airport, which handles a smaller number of routes than the larger gateway further south, so flight options are more limited and worth checking early. The transfer into the old medina is a taxi journey, and the historic quarter is largely car-free, so your driver will drop you at the edge of the old town. We suggest this for travellers who prioritise history and craft over beach time.
• Casablanca: Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca is Morocco's busiest airport, and it connects well with the national rail network, which runs to the capital city of the north, the imperial city in the south, and other inland destinations. Trains are operated by ONCF and give you a comfortable way to reach other cities after arrival. We think Casablanca works best as a starting point for a multi-city itinerary rather than a standalone beach stay. It is exactly the brief our Morocco Family Holidays deals are built around.
• Essaouira: Essaouira is most often reached by road from the imperial city in the Moroccan interior, a journey of roughly 170 km that takes around the better part of a morning or afternoon by car. Travellers pairing a stay in the inland city with time on the coast usually book an onward transfer rather than a separate flight. We find this combination gives a strong contrast between the bustling inland city and the relaxed Atlantic harbour town.
