Cheap Holidays to Canary Islands in February

Choosing the right island matters more than choosing the cheapest hotel, because each island offers a very different landscape and pace in the same mild month.

• La Gomera: La Gomera is one of the smaller and quieter islands in the Canary Islands holidays range, and its central Garajonay National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site covered in misty laurel forest. Ferry connections from Tenerife mean the island is reachable without a long journey, but the accommodation range is smaller and the villages are low-rise and unhurried. We recommend it for travellers who want walking and scenery in February and are content with a slower, more self-contained stay, and Canary Islands Adults Only Holidays can suit those seeking tranquillity.
• Lanzarote: Lanzarote is known for its volcanic landscapes shaped by eruptions in the 18th and 19th centuries, and Timanfaya National Park is one of its most distinctive sights. The island is compact, so transfers from the airport are short and the range of hotels across the south and east is good for the price. February weather here is mild and dry for much of the month, which makes it a strong choice for travellers who want a different kind of landscape from the usual beach holiday, the same brief our sister-island deals in the Canaries are built around, and Canary Islands Luxury Holidays are available for those wanting something more refined. It is exactly the brief our sister-island holidays in the Canaries are built around.
• Fuerteventura: Fuerteventura is the most windswept of the main islands and has long sandy beaches stretching for many kilometres, which makes it popular with those who want wide open coastline. Its wind can be strong, so sheltered coves and calmer resorts on the east coast are a better fit for a relaxed stay than the most exposed northern beaches. We think it suits sand lovers and water sport fans who do not mind a breezier setting in exchange for uncrowded beaches, and Canary Islands Beach Holidays make the most of its shoreline.
• Gran Canaria: Gran Canaria offers a mix of city life, dunes and mountain scenery within a short drive, which makes it one of the most versatile islands for a February break. The central Roque Nublo rock formation is a popular walk, and the south coast is reachable within about an hour of most areas. We recommend it for travellers who want variety in one holiday rather than a single style of beach stay, and Gran Canaria holidays give you that range in a single trip.
• La Graciosa: La Graciosa is the smallest inhabited Canary Island, reached by ferry from Órzola on the north coast of the island next door, and its main village has almost no cars. Accommodation is limited and simple, so it is best booked as a day trip or a short overnight stay rather than a full week, and the ferry timetable should be checked before you travel. We suggest it as an add-on for travellers who want a quiet change of pace from their base on the neighbouring island, the same kind of relaxed brief our Cheap Canary Islands Holidays deals are built around.
