Easter Holidays to Morocco

These destinations offer the most reliable warmth during the Easter period, with long days and settled weather.

• Agadir: Agadir sits on the Atlantic coast with a long sandy bay and a palm-lined promenade, and it tends to enjoy more consistent warmth in spring than inland cities that can feel cooler at night. The resort is reached by a direct flight through its regional airport, which keeps transfers short and simple for a week in the sun. Its coastal breezes moderate the afternoon heat, so it suits those who want to sunbathe without the intensity of a desert setting. We recommend this resort for guests who prioritise dependable sunshine and a relaxed beach routine above a packed city itinerary. Morocco holidays
• Essaouira: Essaouira is a fortified seaside town a few hours by road from the imperial city of the south, and its Atlantic location keeps temperatures pleasant when inland areas are already warming up. The medina is a short walk from the harbour, so you can combine a morning on the ramparts with a late lunch of fresh seafood. Its winds are strong, which is ideal for windsurfing but less suited to those wanting a completely still beach day. We suggest it for travellers who want warmth tempered by sea air and a slower coastal rhythm.
• Marrakech: Marrakech is the most famous of the imperial cities and offers a reliable spring climate, with warm days that are comfortable for walking the souks and visiting gardens. Easter is a sensible time to visit before the summer heat becomes intense, and the city sits at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, which can give cooler evenings. Flights arrive at its main airport, and a taxi covers the short run into the centre. The main trade-off is that the medina can feel busy, so we advise choosing a riad in a quieter lane if you want a restful base, the same brief our Morocco Adults Only Holidays deals are built around.
• Fes: Fes is a historic inland city where spring temperatures are mild and pleasant for exploring its extensive medina, one of the largest car-free urban areas in the world. Walking through its winding lanes is most comfortable in the cooler parts of the day, and the crafts quarters offer an indoor option if the afternoon turns warm. The city is well connected by train to the coastal metropolis on the Atlantic and to Tangier, which makes it easy to combine with other stops on your itinerary, the same brief our Morocco Last Minute Holidays deals are built around. We recommend it for guests who value history and craftsmanship and do not mind slower walking through the older quarters.
• Casablanca: Casablanca is Morocco's largest commercial city and sits on the Atlantic coast, where its maritime location keeps the spring air fresh and mild. It is a practical option for travellers who want a modern base with access to the Hassan II Mosque, which stands over the ocean and offers guided tours outside prayer times. The city is a major transport hub, so onward train journeys to other imperial cities are straightforward, making it a sensible starting point for the same brief our Morocco Luxury Holidays deals are built around. The trade-off is that it is less of a resort than the beach towns, so we recommend it for a city-focused stay rather than a classic sunshine break.
