Last Minute Holidays from Glasgow to Canary Islands

Resort choice is the biggest decision for a last-minute booking, and these areas each suit a different kind of traveller.

• Costa Adeje: Looking for last minute resorts from Glasgow? Gouvia, on Corfu's north-east coast, is a sheltered bay lined with marina-side tavernas, a lively promenade and a sandy beach with calm, shallow water that suits families and couples alike. Direct flights from Glasgow make it an easy choice for a quick, affordable escape. It is exactly the brief our Canary Islands All Inclusive Holidays deals are built around.
• Maspalomas: Maspalomas offers a relaxed resort feel, with beach holidays, golf and the dune landscape close to your hotel. Canary Islands Beach Holidays are a natural fit here, because the wide sands and calm promenade make it a comfortable base for sun, sand and an easy routine. It is less energetic than the busiest strips, which makes it a good match for couples and older travellers looking for a settled stay.
• Playa Blanca: Playa Blanca is a resort town in the south of the island with sandy beaches and a quieter atmosphere than many island resorts, and it suits holidays here for travellers who want a calm base. It also offers ferry links to a neighbouring island from nearby ports, which makes it useful if you want to visit a second island during a week away. The local airport is a short drive from the resort, so the transfer is manageable even on a late booking. It is exactly the brief our holiday deals on this island are built around, and that same focus shapes every package we put together for this destination.
• Puerto de la Cruz: Puerto de la Cruz on the north coast is a traditional resort with volcanic black-sand beaches, historic streets and a famous zoo and marine park. Canary Islands Family Holidays suit this setting well, since the calmer streets and attractions give younger guests plenty to see. It sits further from the southern airport than the southern resorts, so the transfer takes longer, but the cultural character is the reason many travellers choose it.
• Corralejo: Corralejo is a fishing village at the north tip of its island, next to a protected dune park and known for long sandy beaches and water sports. Holidays here suit those who want wide sands, wind-based activities and a relaxed village feel. It is less built up than the larger southern resorts, so the trade-off is fewer nightlife options in exchange for space and quiet. It is exactly the brief our island holiday deals are built around.
